Akyra’s Guest House
1. Introduction
We are pleased to have you stay with us. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our guest house and its facilities. By making a reservation and/or staying with us, you agree to these Terms.
2. Bookings
- Bookings are only secured once a deposit is paid.
- Walk-ins with cash/EFT on arrival are always welcome.
- No deposit= No guaranteed room booking .
- We have had bookings that previous did not show up and we had to turn away other guests. To prevent this from happening again, we now run on a simple “first to pay, first to stay” system.
3. Check-in/Check-out
- Akyra Enterprises is flexible with check in times – however, please ensure that you check in between the hours of 14:00 to 19:00.
- A check-out time will be communicated with you upon arrivals
- Late check-out may incur an additional fee.
4. Room Use
- Rooms are for registered guests only.
- No smoking or vaping allowed in any of our rooms. There is a table, chair and ashtray outside of every room for your convenience should you wish to smoke.
- No pets allowed.
5. Payment
- Payment is due upon check-in.
- We accept Cash, Visa/Master Card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and also tap to pay using NFC.
6. Cancellations/Refunds
- Cancellations made 24 hours prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund – if you have paid in advance.
- Cancellations made after this time frame will incur a 15% cancellation fee – if you have paid in advance.
7. Liability
- We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property.
- We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents occurring on the premises.
8. Conduct
- Guests are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner.
- Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction.
9. Damage to Property
- If you are found guilty of damaging any of our property – (furniture, bedding, appliances, dishes, the building structure, the gardens, common areas, etc) – you will be held liable. Damages will be assessed and a you will be liable for the total costs.
10. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.

As a construction company, we prioritise clarity and transparency in our client interactions. To ensure a smooth collaboration, we:
- Provide detailed quotations outlining project scope, timelines, and payment terms.
- We ensure transparent communication. Please note that time-lines may be affected due to multiple reasons (weather, payments, client feedback, personal constraints from both parties). Akyra Construction will communicate to the client any constraints that may affect the timeline. Likewise, we require clients to also communicate with use regarding constraints and other factors which may affect the time-line if any should arise.
- We pride ourselves in delivering excellent service – and appreciate client feedback and effective communication.
- Emphasise the importance of timely payments to maintain project momentum.
- Establish clear communication channels to address client concerns and project updates.
- Set realistic deadlines and milestones, allowing for flexibility when needed.
- Document all agreements and changes to avoid misunderstandings.
- Prioritise client satisfaction while minimising unnecessary liability.
